iOS 8 JailBreak Not Going to be Necessary for Most People: Here’s Why

Every time there has been an iOS update a Jailbreak would get released to compliment it. Why does this keep happening? Well, users want more customization options on their iPhones, so they add the features they want by using a jailbreak. It seems that the latest 7.1.1 has eliminated the need for most consumers to rely on a jailbreak to get the features they want on their phones, although the folks who like to make large modifications to their iPhones will jailbreak to tweak them as desired.

The feature with the largest demand was QuickReply and it is now an official iOS feature, so you can slide down your phone to open a message. Third-party keyboards can now be installed on your iPhone, which is something many believe they should have allowed from the beginning. Widgets can now be placed in the notification center so it is easy to scroll down and view information and quickly close it. Another great thing about the latest update is the Touch ID’s API is now available for developers to use, so social media and banking sites can use fingerprint scanners to log you in.

iOS 8 JailBreak

Is is still possible to jailbreak iOS 8? Yes, and many hackers have already shown off their skills by displaying their jailbreaked iOS 8 devices on YouTube for the world to see. This is not something that will stop, but most people will find that it is not necessary to Jailbreak their phone anymore. There are a small percentage of serious hackers and enthusiast that love to customize their phones to the maximum, but for most people it is not worth the loss of security.

Each update brings more features but the 7.1.1 update has really iced the cake and brought the most popular jailbreak features to the operating system.
