Moto X 64 GB edition is now official; Motorola introduces ‘Try Then Buy’ offer

The 64GB Moto X has been rumoured for months to be honest, so we aren’t really surprised that Motorola has finally made it official. However, at the moment, the version is only available in the US. With India not getting a 32GB version either, we can expect the new Moto X to also skip our shores, which is a shame considering how great the phone is. The 64GB variant of Moto X will cost $449,  $100 more than the international 16GB model price, and $50 more than the 32GB version.

Motorola is also starting a one-day promotion from June 8 that lets US customers try a custom Moto X for two weeks, before either buying it or returning it. Buyers will be able to design and order a Moto X from Moto Maker for just $0.01 up-front. The device is shipped out and they get to use it for up to two weeks, after which they can buy it or return it for no additional charge. However, on buying the phone after the two-week period, the buyers will get 30 percent off promo code on select Moto X accessories. The ‘Try Then Buy’ offer is only open till June 9 only, so there’s bound to be limited stock.

And even as Motorola has released a slightly refreshed Moto X, the rumours surrounding the second-gen Moto X keep getting stronger. The Moto X+1 is rumoured to be coming at the end of the summer. Some report says Motorola will take that time period very seriously and announced the X+1 on the last day of Summer or equinox i.e September 23 this yea
