BlackBerry Classic Q20: Top 5 reasons you will love it

BlackBerry is struggling pretty badly in the smartphone arena but the company's hasn't given up hope yet. It has been constantly launching new devices and has been trying to strengthen its position in the markets where it still enjoys affinity like India and Indonesia. Now it has just announced that the Classic Q20 which it released at the MWC earlier this year will be hitting the retail shelves later this year in December. We list out top 5 features about it which you will love even if you are not a BB fan.

Keyboard and Trackpad: The combination of keyboard and trackpad was what made BlackBerry popular and it is back. The trackpads weren't seen on any of the recent devices from BlackBerry's stable and they are coming back with the Classic Q20. The keyboard has always been the strength of BlackBerry and the new device will further add to the armoury.

Display: BlackBerry devices have often been criticised for cramped and low resolution displays. But the Classic Q20 is here to change that. It will come with 3.46 inch touchscreen with a resolution of 720 x 720 pixels. It may look small on paper but makes for a decent unit coupled with a keyboard. And you get more real estate to view due to the square display.

Processor: BlackBerry devices tend to use pretty less amount of resources compared to their competitors. The Classic Q20 will get a 1.5 GHz dual core Snapdragon S4 Plus processor mated to a 2GB RAM. Courtesy of the combination, the performance on the device will be a breeze.

Camera and Storage: The Classic Q20 will come with an internal storage capacity of 16GB which will be further expandable by another 128GB with the help of a microSD card so you need not worry about storing your media elsewhere. At the rear will be an 8MP camera with a LED flash which will be decent enough for regular usage and joining it will be a 2MP front camera.

BB OS 10.3: The BB OS 10 is still evolving and the Classic Q20 will get it in version 10.3 guise out of the box. It has the support for android apps so you need not worry about the lack of apps on the  BlackBerry App world. In addition to that, it will also have support for BlackBerry Enterprise Solution 12 which will open up a lot of possibilities for it in the corporate world.
