The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date continues in the United States with the arrival of the white Verizon Galaxy Note 4 though it, and other models, continue to present Galaxy Note 4 problems to buyers.
Samsung’s all new Galaxy Note 4 is an impressive smartphone and one that comes loaded with high-powered specs including a 5.7-inch Quad HD display, a brand new 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, a new S Pen stylus, Android 4.4.4 KitKat software that’s backed by TouchWiz, and a brand new design that comes with both plastic and metal materials.
The device replaced the Galaxy Note 3 in several regions this month including the United States where it landed on the nation’s five largest carriers AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, U.S. Cellular, and Verizon Wireless. The U.S. Galaxy Note 4 release date landed two weeks ago in the United States but the Galaxy Note 4 release date continues to drag on as buyers deal with Galaxy Note 4 problems.
Today, the Galaxy Note 4 release in the United States is complete with the arrival of the white Verizon Galaxy Note 4, a device that arrives nearly two weeks after its rivals and a week after its black counterpart. The device appears to be available online thru Verizon’s store though a quick availability check reveals that stock is extremely scarce if not non-existent in physical Verizon retail locations. This, of course, is just one of the Galaxy Note 4 problems that prospective buyers are facing.
Amazon, one of the world’s leading retailers, continues to see Galaxy Note 4 stock fluctuate in the weeks after the device’s release. There, the white Verizon Galaxy Note 4 remains out of reach, as does the AT&T Galaxy Note 4 and the black Sprint Galaxy Note 4. Amazon is still selling every model but the white Verizon variant. At Amazon, we’ve seen stock shift nearly every single day, a sign that Samsung’s supply is strained.
Best Buy, another leading retailer in the United States, used to sell the Galaxy Note 4 online. These days, the retailer is completely sold out of its online stock. All models, including the AT&T, Sprint and Verizon Galaxy Note 4, are completely sold out online and it’s not clear what kind of stock physical retail locations have. Samsung’s Galaxy Note 4 release woes have flown under the radar here in the United States though that doesn’t mean that they’ve been any less troublesome to buyers.
Samsung’s planning an ambitious fall pipeline that not only includes the Galaxy Note 4 but the Galaxy Note Edge as well. The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is the company’s curved version of the Galaxy Note 4 and a device that’s experiencing some production delays of its own.
While the black Galaxy Note Edge is available on Japanese carriers KDDI and NTT DoCoMo, the white Galaxy Note Edge models are delayed into November. Samsung, it seems, needed more time to get the shade out from its production lines. Samsung is also clearly dealing with white Galaxy Note 4 supply issues as well.

The Galaxy Note Edge won’t be as common as the Galaxy Note 4. The device, which has hit Korea and Japan, is currently slated to hit the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, India, Australia, Russia, and China. The Galaxy Note 4, on the other hand, is set to hit 140 countries by the end of October with a few stragglers releasing the device in November.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 problems continue to wage on as we move closer to Black Friday and the start of the holiday shopping season. And while Samsung is in possession of one of the best supply chains in the world, it’s not clear if the company is going to be able to get these Galaxy Note 4 stock issues solved in time for the big weeks ahead.
