Reliance Jio Latest Offers: Jio Phone Monsoon Hungama Offer, Jio Delight Pack, More

Telecom giant Reliance Jio is introducing a spree of offers this monsoon season. The company is all set to release the next generation of its feature phone, dubbed JioPhone 2. To add more to the promotion of the flagship feature phone, the company has introduced JioPhone Monsoon Hungama Offer where it is offering JioPhone in exchange for any feature phone. Additionally, Reliance Jio is also offering a 100 per cent cashback on mobiles and JioFi.

JioPhone: Monsoon Hungama Offer

Under the Monsoon Hungama exchange offer, you can get JioPhone at an effective price of Rs. 501. You can exchange your old feature phone of any brand along with a security deposit of Rs. 501 for a brand new JioPhone. The security deposit is 100% refundable and you will get this amount at the end of three years. Note that the old phone that is being exchanged must be in working condition and has a charger. Also, the old phone must be handed over to the retailer at the time of the new JioPhone purchase. Additionally, you will get a new Jio SIM on the purchase of JioPhone. However, if you got your JioPhone under the Monsoon Hungama offer, you will also need to buy a Reliance Jio prepaid recharge plans worth Rs. 594.

Under the Rs. 594 recharge plan, the users will get unlimited voice and data benefits for six months at the time of activation of Jio SIM. Apart from this, the users that got their JioPhone in Monsoon Hungama exchange offer will also get a special exchange bonus of 6GB data voucher, worth Rs. 101, which translates to a total of 90GB data for a period of 6 months.

Reliance Jio: 100% Cashback Offer  In order to be eligible for the cashback offer from Reliance Jio, the users will have to recharge with a prepaid recharge plan of Rs. 398 or higher. The cashback will come in the form vouchers worth Rs. 400. Furthermore, Jio is also offering 100% cashback up to Rs. 100 on select digital payment wallets. The cashback offer is valid on mobile phone prepaid recharge plans, JioFibre, JioLink and JioFi.

Reliance JioPhone 2: Price, Release Date, Specifications

The JioPhone 2 goes on sale on 15 August with an introductory price of Rs. 2,999. The new JioPhone 2, however, features a QWERTY keypad with a 4-way navigation key, similar to older BlackBerry handsets. The device features a 2.4-inch sized display with QVGA resolution. The details on the hardware of the new feature phone are still unknown. To recall, the JioPhone is powered by a Spreadtrum 9820 dual-core SoC clocked at up to 1.2 GHz. It also includes 512MB of RAM and comes with 4GB of internal storage. The onboard storage can be further expanded using a microSD card. On the software front, the new JioPhone 2 runs on the KaiOS and supports popular apps like WhatsApp, Facebook, and YouTube. For optics, the JioPhone 2 features a 2MP primary shooter and a VGA front-facing camera. For power, the device is armed with a 2,000mAh battery which is touted to support talk time up to 14 hours.

For connectivity, the JioPhone 2 supports Wi-Fi, GPS, NFC, Bluetooth, FM radio, VoLTE, and VoWiFi. The feature phone also comes with support for LTE Cat4 with maximum download speeds of 150 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 50 Mbps. Band 2,5,40 is one of the supported LTE bands for this flagship feature phone. Reliance Jio is going all out with its internet offerings, and hence the data war in the telecom industry. The telecom operator has been trying hands on different verticals to expand their horizons. Earlier this month, the company announced that it will be acquiring a US-based company to accelerate its attempts in IoT domain and 5G technology. At its 41st RIL Annual General Meeting in Mumbai, the company also announced 200M subscribers along with the introduction of JioPhoe 2 and Jio GigaFiber. Mukesh Ambani also mentioned that Reliance has become the largest recycler of PET bottles in India. In a statement, he said,“We have produced the largest amount of globally efficient ethylene cracker in the Jamnagar unit. We are also adding composites and carbon fibre in our production portfolio. This makes RIL the most diversified company in the country.”
