Sony PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 review

I Love Sony PlayStation 4 DualShock 4 , its like a human moddy its have different colour which say how you playing, how much you life etc etc so lets review it
The PlayStation 4's controller is called the DualShock 4, and is the most drastic redesign of the PlayStation controller since the introduction of the DualShock. It features capacitive touch input, like that of the PS Vita, improved SixAxis motion sensing, a brightly-colored "Light Bar", speaker on the controller, and at 7.4 ounces, the controller weighs less than an ounce more than the Dualshock 3 (6.74 ounces). The Dualshock 4 retails for $59.99 US. The Dualshock 4 was originally intended to look similair to the highly acclaimed Xbox 360 controller, but that idea was put to rest in favour of the more classic and Playstation like side to side analog stick placement that Playstation fans are accustomed to. The start and select buttons are replaced by share and option keys that flank on the top of the touchpad. Note that if you're purchasing the Dualshock 4 seperately for an extra controller, it does not come with a micro-USB cable to charge. Instead you will have to use the one included with your system, buy a new one or simply charge the controllers seperately. It has been confirmed via twitter that the up to 4 PS4 controllers can be used at once which is surprising because thats less than what the PS3 supported.
Previous DualShock controllers are not compatible with the PlayStation 4.[n]

ALTERNATE COLOURS

Two alternate versions of the Dualshock 4 were revealed during Gamescom 2013 [n]. These are the Magma Red and Wave Blue colours. They will be available in Europe at launch and North America "later this year."

SHARE BUTTON

The DualShock 4 features a share button that lets players record and upload videos and screenshots to the web. However, developers can disable use of the share button at certain points throughout a game, such as a final boss fight, to prevent the sharing of potential plot spoilers.[n]
When you press the share button, you can share either a video or screenshot to a number places.  You can upload screenshots to Twitter, and both screenshots and videos to Facebook.  If you only want certain people to see these on Facebook, you can create a group on Facebook and only upload your videos and screenshots to them.  You can also share livestreams.  You share these livestreams on Ustream and Twitch.  On these livestreams, you can use your PlayStation Camera to record your voice and your reactions to the game. At the moment the only option to share gameplay is on Facebook and future support will come to Youtube, Twitter and more.

TOUCHPAD

Placed on the front of the controller, the capacitive type touchpad is a clickable 2-point touchpad with a resolution of 1920x900.The functionality of the touchpad will differ from between games. You are able to zoom, swipe, pinch, and scroll with the intuitive touchpad. Other uses will be announced as developers find more ways to implement them into their games. The touchpad is unlike the PS Vita's rear touchpad because it is not only smaller but matte as opposed to glossy.

GRIP

Added grip can be seen on both the back of the controller and on the analog sticks. There is a texture coated on the grip and the handles have been extended for extra comfort.

LIGHT BAR

The light bar on the controller is used to identify the player in the game. Player 1 is blue, player 2 is red, player 3 is green, and player 4 is pink.[n] If you disconnect your DualShock 4 and for some reason the light turns white, hold the ps button for 15 seconds and the controlller will reset.
The light bar is also the source of the DualShock 4's move functionality, which helps the PS4 with functions such as determining where the player is located within the room.[n]
Developers will be able to communicate information via the light bar in the future. For example, in Killzone: Shadow Fall, the light bar evolves into another color as the action heats up and the player takes damage, signifying that things are awry.

AUDIO

The DualShock 4 features a built-in mono speaker and a headphone jack. There will also be a headset bundled into every console sold.[n]
Most regular headphones or earphones with a built in microphone are compatible with the dualshock 4 and you can use this to listen to in-game audio and chat audio.
Most PlayStation 3 headsets will be compatible with the PlayStation 4 at launch, with the exception of USB headsets. In the future, there will be an update to implement use of USB headsets.
PlayStation Europe tweeted a picture of the headset attached to the DualShock 4 saying that you can instantly chat with friends using the mono headset included with every console.[n]
The speaker on the DualShock 4 has been implemented in various ways with launch games. Audiologs play through the controller speaker on Killzone Shadow Fall and Resogun uses it in numerous ways including alerting players of humans in danger of being abducted.  If you want to lower the volume, head into Settings, choose Devices, select Controllers, and the volume bar will be the first option.

BATTERY AND RECHARGING

The DualShock 4 features a built in lithium-ion rechargeable battery and charges using a micro USB, but unlike the DualShock 3, the DualShock 4 is able to charge while the console is in sleep mode. It should take two hours to fully charge the DualShock 4 from a drained battery to a fully charged one via the USB cable, which connects the DualShock 4 to the PlayStation 4. Many reviews note the Dualshock 4 has a battery life of roughly 7-8 hours.
Up to four controllers can be plugged into the system at any given time. It can sync up to the PlayStation 4 the exact same way that the DualShock 3 could sync up with the PlayStation 3.

BUTTON AND ANALOG STICKS

Sony has replaced the DualShock 3's inwardly-curving triggers with triggers that curve outward. Also, the convex-shaped tops of the DualShock 3's analog sticks have been replaced with concave tops to match the contour of the thumb. The D-pad of the DualShock 4 is slightly larger than the DualShock 3's and features more angular buttons. The four face buttons will change from analog, as seen on the DualShock 3, to digital.

STEREO CAMERA INTERFACE

Additionally, the controller can interact with a stereo camera that is capable of sensing players' surroundings much like Kinect on Xbox 360.

Reaction and Implementation

Speaking after the DualShock 4's reveal, Dominic Guay, Senior Producer of 'Watch Dogs,' praised the controller's touch capabilities.
"The touchpad is a great addition. As an example, in Watch Dogs it allows us to directly refer to the way our main character, Aiden Pearce, interfaces with his smartphone, his primary tool to hack into the city systems. So the player has a natural and direct way of using his avatar's device. The touchpad will provide benefits to the control scheme." [n]

PlayStation 3 Compatibility

After the release of the Dualshock 4, a couple of weeks before the launch of the PlayStation 4, early adopters of the controller found that it could be used, although limitedly, on the PlayStation 3. When connected to the PlayStation 3 with a Micro-USB cable, like those commonly found on Android smartphones, the Dualshock 4 can be used to play a limited number of games from the PlayStation 3's library.

PC and Mac Compatibility

All DualShock 4 features will work on PC and Mac with the exception of the touchpad, light bar, and PlayStation button.
