Moto 360 Smartwatch Gets New Bands

Motorola's Moto 360 smartwatch, as expected, has received more metal band options - including the Champagne GOLD metal band and Cognac leather band that had been tipped last week by a retailer listing that was quickly pulled.
The Lenovo-owned company on Thursday also announced new watch faces; a selection of interchangeable bands, and an all new health tracker, the Moto Body.

The Moto 360 will be now available in light and dark metal bands priced at $299 (Rs. 18,400 approximately) on the company's online store. The smartwatch will soon be also available in slim bands which the company believes, "is an option for smaller wrists or for people who want a different look."

The Slim bands will be available ahead of holidays in light metal at $299 (Rs. 18,400 approximately) and a brand new champagne GOLD finish $329 (Rs. 20,250 approximately).

Motorola also announced a range of interchangeable Stone, Black and Cognac leather bands along with light and dark metal bands. The company has partnered with brands like DODOcase, which will offer stitched leather bands for Moto 360 in four new colours, and TYLT, which is working on colourful silicone bands.

The company has added a new My Design watch face option that will allow users to customise the overall look of the smartwatch's screen. "These new watch face options will be available for all Moto 360 watches through an update on the Moto Connect app within the next few days," the company notes.

Lastly, Motorola has introduced a health tracker called Moto Body that will help users track steps, distance, heart rate and calories. The Moto Body will be available to all Moto 360 users via the Motorola Connect app update.
