Nexus 9 vs Nokia N1 specs: Buy the tablets now or wait a bit longer?

Just when everyone thought that Nokia is no longer a tough competitor in the tech market, it announced the new Nokia N1 that boasts awesome specs and features that are at par with other tablets like the Nexus 9 slate from Google.
Surprisingly, the Nokia N1 is not a Windows-based device as it runs with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, just like the Nexus 9. But at $250, the Nokia tablet is more affordable as it costs $100 less than Google's offering. However, the Nexus 9 is now available while the N1 won't be available until February 2015.
Below are the comparison of the specs and features of the Nexus 9 and Nokia N1.

The new HTC Nexus 9 is powered by a dual-core Nvidia Tegra K1 that has 64-bit architecture paired with 2 GB of RAM. The Nokia N1, on the other hand, is equipped with a quad-core Intel chipset clocked at 2.3 GHz partnered with 2 GB of RAM.
Operating system
Both tablets run with the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop, which also comes with new features such as Material Design, security and battery saver features.
