Some LG G4 Users Reporting Touchscreen Issues; LG Says It's Investigating

LG's latest 2015 flagship smartphone, the G4, has been noted by some users to be affected by an issue that makes the touchscreen unresponsive.
An XDA Developer forum thread with over 100 LG G4 users has listed the touchscreen issues like failing to register taps and swipes, which causes the display to act unresponsive when the user tries to interact with the handset. liamR, a senior member on XDA Developer forum, has even started a poll to collect what are the touchscreen issues G4 users are facing.

According to preliminary reports, LG G4 smartphones from Verizon and T-Mobile are said to be most affected. AT&T users however have been also reported that there have been touchscreen issues on the G4.

Notably, LG is aware about the touchscreen issue reported by some users; though it is as yet unable to identify the cause or even come out with a solution for the issue. LG told Android Police that it is "actively investigating" the issue.

A user named Valkyrie743 has also posted a video of this issue on the G4's Verizon model.
To recall, the LG G4 started its global rollout in April in Korea and promised that the handset will be available on approximately 180 carriers worldwide.

LG India recently confirmed the G4 smartphone launch on June 19. The company, ahead of the official launch, also revealed the pricing of the handset. The LG G4 was listed on the company's India site at an MRP of Rs. 51,500.

The LG G4 official India listing hinted that the South Korean might launch the Dual SIM (Dual LTE) variant of the flagship with model number H818N. The company however is not clear whether it would market and launch the G4 in India with the original name or with Dual SIM (Dual LTE) suffix.
