Hisense announced its new 2014 Ultra High Definition (UHD) LED 3D TV's on Android OS, the T910 Series.
The new generation Hisense UHD TV's are Google certified VISION Smart TVs that run Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and have a Native Contrast Ratio of 5000 : 1. The T910's come in 75" and 85" screen options. Hisense UHD TV's are the the 2nd most popular 4K TV globally, say analysts. UHD or '4K' (3840 x 2160) as its known, has four-times the resolution of Full HD.
Hisense T910's Android TV have all Google apps; Chrome web browser, Play store access to movies and TV shows, Voice Search and cloud storage.
They also have built-in WiFi, Dolby Digital audio, 3D active shutter, and a bundle of inputs/ouputs including HDMI, USB, Ethernet / LAN Input, AV Input, and VGA. They also have a built in multimedia player - you can also record, pause, fast forward and rewind live TV and 8GB storage.
The new Hisense Android TV's are now on sale at Bing Lee, Harvey Norman, JB Hi-Fi and The Good Guys stores and cost $8,999 for the 75" and $11,999 for the 85" , which is pretty competitive for a larger screen UHD TV - you can buy a Hisense 65" 4KTV for under $2500.

Hisense has also gone retro-futuristic, kitting out its new UHD's with modern copper coloured bezel and a new TV stand.
The 85-inch T-910 is nearly 20% lighter compared to rival brands, ideal for custom wall mount installations.
According to DisplaySearch, the Chinese brand is now a global leader in television, shipping over 49 million worldwide in Q1.
