The screen mirroring feature allows you to mirror your phone or other compatible mobile device's screen onto the TVs screen wirelessly. This feature allows you to use your big screen television instead of your devices smaller screen for showing content, media playback, or other function.
Screen Mirroring is compatible with the following Samsung devices:
Important: Other manufacturer devices may work with this function but Samsung does not provide information or support for these devices.

Check your device settings for AllShare Cast, Mirracast, or Screen Mirror options. The name of the function may vary by model and carrier. All devices listed above must be running at least Android version 4.1.2. We cannot guarantee proper operation when used on rooted devices.
Important:
If you have recently updated your phone or tab to Android version 4.3 you will need to install the following patch to continue to enjoy screen mirroring. Screen Mirroring Patch
The entire configuration for the Screen Mirroring function is performed on your external device.
Screen Mirroring does not work with Intel's WiDi feature (displaying your computer's screen wirelessly to the TV) , you will still use and external WiDi adapter.
You do not need the Allshare Cast adapter if your device is capable of Screen Mirroring.
To prepare the TV to connect with your device press the source button.
Navigate to and select the "Screen Mirroring" source
Your TV will display a screen informing you that it is awaiting a device to be connected. This screen will be displayed until your device is connected.
Note: If you do not connect your device within 2 minutes the scan times out.
Important: These final steps will vary depending on your device. Most devices will have an option similar to Allshare Cast in Samsung Phones: Settings > Wireless and Networks > More Settings > Allshare Cast. Once you enable this setting it will scan for nearby devices.

Once enabled the external device will scan for the TV and find it. If it does not find it try to get within 6 feet of the TV.
Tap on the TV to connect to it.
Your Phone screen will now be displayed on the TV. you can use this connection to:
Show pictures stored on your external device.
Watch videos stored on your external device.
Watch videos from Apps on your external device.
