Lenovo has yet again quietly launched another A-series tablet in India, the A7-30. The Lenovo A7-30 has been listed on the company's online 'Do Store' at Rs. 9,979.
The Lenovo A7-30 tablet was launched globally in April, alongside the Lenovo A7-50, A8 and A10 tablets. Notably, the Lenovo A7-50 was the other A-series tablet made available earlier this month at Rs. 15,499. The availability of other two tablets Lenovo A8 and Lenovo A10 is still unknown for India.
The A7-30 tablet supports single-SIM with 2G connectivity, and offers the voice-calling feature. It runs the now-dated Android 4.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box, and sports a 7-inch (1024x600 pixels) IPS display.
The tablet is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek (MT8382) processor with 1GB of RAM, as also seen on the Lenovo A7-50. The A7-30 tablet comes with 8GB of inbuilt storage, which is further expandable via microSD card (up to 32GB). It sports a 2-megapixel fixed focus rear camera with no LED flash, while there is a secondary 0.3-megapixel fixed focus front-facing camera also onboard.
On the connectivity front, the Lenovo A7-30 includes 3G support via USB dongle, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, and Bluetooth 4.0 connectivity. The listing on the official store was first spotted by Fonearena.
The Lenovo A7-30 tablet packs a non-removable 3500mAh Li-Po battery, which is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of usage time and up to two weeks of standby time.
