BBM Caught Running On Samsung Galaxy Gear 2

BlackBerry has been busy promoting its messenger, BBM, across various platforms. The app is already available for Android and iOS and will be making a debut on the Windows Phone platform really soon.

In addition to this, it seems like BlackBerry is now gunning to get this app on the wearable devices. As per the image that has been posted on N4BB, BBM will be soon seen running on wearable devices. The image shows BBM up and running on the Samsung Gear 2 smartwatch.

The image to us looks as close to real as it can get, yet we can't rule out that it might just be someone with amazing knowledge of photoshop.

Now this does seem an interesting option going forward. However, we are curious if through this app for the wearable we can get only notifications and perhaps make BBM calls or will it be a full blown app that will get incorporated in a smartwatch?

Personally, we feel any messenger app will be quite a handful to run via smartwatch. No matter how advanced the smartwatches become, they still have a limited real estate to offer and typing on that screen will be awfully hard and needless to add, reading large messages will be quite a task.

Also a note worth pointing out at this stage is that the Samusng Galaxy Gear 2 runs on Tizen, So if this is real, BBM guys have found a word around for this OS. So there are a good bit of chances that they are working to get this app up and running on the Android wear devices as well.
