Logitech has launched three new tablet cases in India, which cater to the iPad Air, iPad mini with retina display and Samsung Galaxy tab 4 10.1. Both the Big Bang cases cost Rs.4,995, while the Keyboard Folio for the Samsung Galaxy Tab costs Rs.6,495.
iPad case
The Big Bang cases for the iPad Air and iPad mini with retina display are rugged protective cases. Logitech claims extreme durability as it is made up of shock absorbent materials, which have been utilised in aerospace, automotive and sports products. It's also an impact protective case and protects both the versions of the iPad from bumps, scratches and spills, claims Logitech.
According to the company, both the cases have been dropped from an height of 1.4 meters, which exceeds the US Military standard of 1.22 meters.
The keyboard folio has been specifically designed for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 10.1. It's essentially a keyboard attachment, which doubles as a case. It has a dual view stand, which works in two positions for typing.
It has a secure lock system in place, which according to Logitech keeps the tablet latched on and makes for easy removal of the tablet. Logitech, claims that the case is water repellent and built using materials that will protect the tablet from accidental spills, bumps or drops.
