the Moto E second gen was launched recently and is exclusively available at Flipkart. Apart from the variant that is currently available, Motorola had announced that it will launch the 4G LTE variant soon, however, the company did not specify any date.
Flipkart has already listed the LTE version on its website with a "coming soon" tag. Apart from the tag there is no other information regarding the release date. A few reports do suggest that the launch can happen at any time before May and hopefully the phone will come with a sub-Rs10,000 price tag.
The Moto E 2nd gen sports a slightly bigger 4.5 inch qHD (960x540 pixels) screen in comparison to the previous generation 4.3 inch screen. The LTE variant is powered by a Snapdragon 410 quad-core processor. In terms of memory, the phone comes with 8GB of internal storage with an option to expand through a memory card slot. The phone features a 5MP primary camera and a front-facing VGA camera.
The new Moto E has a unique design element which uses contrast-coloured bands instead of the swappable back which also houses the SIM card and memory card slots. With 4G compatibility and a 64bit processor the LTE variant will definitely be a good buy for the price.
