Google Maps And Youtube To Work Offline By End Of 2015

 Till now, Google maps cannot be accessed once the phone reaches No Service zone or is devoid of internet connection. Google maps and YouTube will now work on Android devices without an internet connection. . YouTube now offers a simple archiving tool that allows a user to save a video for offline use for up to two days. This YouTube feature is only available for with Android 4.4 version or higher than that.


In the offline version of Google map users can browse without internet connection. Users will get data about reviews of important locations and open schedules of stores. Turn by turn directions for the route users set will also be displayed in the offline version of Google maps.  The offline version of Google maps can be accessed by users by late 2015.


The next version of its Android operating system, Android 'M', was also launched by Google at its annual developer's conference Google I/O. With its launch later this year, this next version of Google's mobile OS will succeed Android Lollipop.


The search engine also announced the launch of a series of lighter apps for the audience I/O conference. The approach to offline support is used in Chrome by YouTube and other websites. Google is all set to provide its users with the needs at accurate time so that they don’t flip to other apps.
