OnePlus, the Chinese technology startup is following on the footsteps of LeEco and Xiaomi. OnePlus has announced that its launching its own online store in India. OnePlus says its exclusive e-commerce website in India will serve as a personalised shopping experience for consumers.
OnePlus’ online e-commerce store will enhance the buying experience for OnePlus fans and offer an option to purchase genuine OnePlus products. OnePlus e-commerce website is also home to latest range of exclusive merchandise and the Chinese startup is offering limited-time offers for all existing users. “To avail these offers, users just have to register the IMEI details of their smartphones on the portal and get shopping,” OnePlus notes in a media statement.
“We are very excited to bring the globally acclaimed OnePlus shopping experience to our fans in India. With the new platform, our users will find it easier to purchase genuine OnePlus products and fan merchandise, right from the comfort of their homes. The e-commerce platform marks yet another major milestone in our India journey and reiterates our long term commitment towards the Indian market and our fan community here,” said Vikas Agarwal, General Manager – India, OnePlus.
OnePlus has been expanding its footprint in India lately and has opened several service centers. The company has also made tie-up with local brands for service and after sales support. OnePlus has been selling its smartphones exclusively on Amazon India and with its own e-commerce website, the smartphones will have second home. OnePlus 3 is the latest smartphone from the Chinese startup offering flagship specifications at a mid-range price.
OnePlus 3 features a 5.5-inch full HD AMOLED display and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 processor. The smartphone comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage. OnePlus 3 ditches the sandstone back made popular with original OnePlus and OnePlus 2 smartphones in favour of metal build.
OnePlus recently introduced the gold variant of its OnePlus 3 smartphone. OnePlus 3 is priced at Rs 27,999 and is available on Amazon India. OnePlus fans can expect to see the device getting listed on company’s e-commerce website very soon.
