Facebook Messenger for Android Gets Small, but HELPFUL Updates

Facebook’s Messenger app for Android users has been available for quite a while now on the PlayStore, rivaling such rival services like WhatsApp and others.

By using Facebook Messenger on your Android smartphone or tablet, you will be to reach not just your Facebook friends, but also people in your phone book.

It comes with such great features as Group chats, the ability to shoot videos and take photos right within the appl Chat heads and free calls over WiFi. And now the app has received an update that’s been requested by many users.

From now on, the videos that you shoot in Facebook Messenger can be saved to your phone’s gallery, which will make it much easier to access all of your media files from a single place. A bunch of other fixes and improvements have been issued to make the app more reliable.

Generally, users seem happy with the app and awarded it an overall rating of 4.2 from almost 6 million votes. However, there are some uses who are complaiing about the latest release. Here’s what Jessica Gossett has been saying:

“No network connectivity Since update. Will not connect and says “waiting for network” even when connected to strong wifi or 4glte. Restarted phone etc. No change. Galaxy Note 3.”

And she isn’t the single one:

“Use to be great would have gave it 5 stars before this stupid update now it dont do anything Because of this new update it keeps telling me I have messages but when I try to see them or recieve them their gone or non existante not sure what yall did cuz of this update, but peace of advide if somethings working good dont do a update that screws everything up”

Let’s hope that Facebook is listening and that they will release soon another update to take care of these glitches that are annoying users.
