Android Lollipop 5.1 Update on Samsung Galaxy S5, S6, Note 4: Rumors

Samsung is probably all set to give its flagship devices the look that they deserve. With the rollout of the upgrade to Android Lollipop, Samsung’s flagship devices will be at par with the other smartphones of their kind. According to the rumors, Samsung will be rolling out an upgrade to Android Lollipop 5.1 soon. The reports also suggest that the flagship devices that are expected to get the rollout are Samsung Galaxy S5,  Galaxy S6 and Note 4. With the days coming closer, the anticipation in the market has increased with regard to which carrier will be the first to launch the update rollout.

Samsung Galaxy S5 already has Android Lollipop 5.0. All the major carriers across the United States have rolled out the update some time in the past. But the question is that whether, Samsung is set to roll out Android Lollipop 5.1 for the flagship devices. If so, then the interesting scenario will be to see which carrier releases the upgrade first.

The scenario is very much the same with Samsung Galaxy S6. The Flagship device comes with pre-installed Android Lollipop, but the rumors suggest that Samsung is all set to allow the next update to Android Lollipop 5.1 to fit in. Although, there are quite a few credibility issues with the reports, but it is never bad to hope and wait for the update roll out to happen.

On the other hand, T-Mobile is the only major carrier in the United States, who has not yet released an upgrade to Android Lollipop yet. According to the reports, T-Mobile is still testing Lollipop with Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The interesting thing is that with all the other major carriers having released the upgrade to Android L, is it time for the next version of Lollipop. Although a lot is not known in this regard, one will probably have to wait.
