THE LATEST Xbox One X news, including a big games boost, Pre order update and more on the benefits of the new Microsoft console and the PS4 Pro entering the market. The Xbox One X Pre Order pages have yet to go online for the world’s most powerful console.

It’s made fans nervous, with some worried a delay could be on the cards.

However, all the latest news surrounding the Microsoft’s upgraded console is that it should arrive right on time.

The Xbox One X release date has been set for November 7, with the tech giant recently moving to try and quell worries of a potential push back to 2018.

Xbox boss Phil Spencer has said it “won’t be too much longer” until Xbox One X pre-orders are made available.

He also discussed possible launch bundles for the Xbox One X, which has a release date of November 7 and a price of £449.

Replying to a fan on Twitter about when pre-orders will go live, Spencer said: “Our plan is set for this. All approvals are done so now just landing the announce with all the info, won't be too much longer.”

The tweet from Spencer seems to indicate that Microsoft had been awaiting FCC approval before launching their Xbox One X pre-orders.

The Redmond-based tech giant had previously said the wait for FCC approval had been holding back pre-orders for their upcoming console.

Spencer also discussed possible bundles the Xbox One X could launch with.

The Xbox One X has been positioned as offering a true 4K experience, and one fan asked if there would be bundles with 4K HDR TVs.

They asked: “Any plans to bundle a 4k HDR tv with a Xbox One X? I'm sure there's a manufacturer that would be willing to collaborate with Xbox”.

Spencer replied: “Yea, you've seen some of these with S and I'm sure you'll see some with X”.Others are also seeing the growing potential of consoles likes the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X.

Mark Robinson, CEO and co-founder of deltaDNA, a company which focuses on in-depth data analysis, revealed that more powerful consoles could lead to more success with free-to-play games.

Speaking to GamingBolt, he explained: “From a F2P perspective, upgraded higher powered consoles can only be a good thing because we know that the better the hardware the better the conversion rate and monetization.

“This is a trend we’ve particularly noticed in mobile phones, as they have evolved.

“We don’t see any real difference between how developers should tailor their approach on PC compared with console.”

Robinson also commented on how interested parties will need to do their homework beforehand, adding: “What’s key is making sure the onboarding is right.

“You’ve also got to see how players engage with the game and make targeted interactions based on each individual player experience, and you need to make sure your monetization mechanics aren’t cannibalizing each other.

“You also need to ensure you’ve got a good core monetization loop, which is the same whether it’s a PC, mobile or console F2P game.”
