Jio vs Airtel vs Vodafone: Prepaid Recharge Plans Under Rs.50 Benefits Comparison

Reliance Jio disrupted the telecom segment with its aggressive pricing that offered great benefits to the consumers at lower pricing. This strategy left no other way for other telcos, but to launch similar offers. Now, Jio is not the only provider who has cheap plans under its hat, Vodafone and Airtel are also on the same track. In this article, we will mention all the under Rs. 50 plan by Jio, Airtel, and Vodafone.

Reliance Jio: Under Rs. 50 Plans and Benefits

The first mention has to be of Jio’s super successful Rs. 49 plan that proved to be beneficial for every Jio user. The Rs. 49 plan from Jio includes free voice calls and 1GB 4G data for a validity period of 28 days. The plan was launched by the company on January 26, 2018, to commemorate the Republic Day of India. It turned out to be the lowest plan offered by any telecom company.

Another ‘under Rs. 50’ from Reliance Jio includes Rs. 19 recharge plan that offers 0.15GB of 4G data for a day. After crossing the data limit, the internet speeds reduces to 64Kbps. Other benefits on the plan include unlimited local, STD and roaming voice calls. It also comes with 20 free SMSes and of course, free access to a host of Jio apps. The plan is valid for one day only.

Vodafone: Under Rs. 50 Plans and Benefits         Vodafone has got two recharge plans under Rs. 50. It offers 60MB of 4G/3G/2G data for a validity period of 1 day at Rs. 11. After reaching the 60MB limit, Vodafone charges 4p/10kb from its users. Under Rs. 21 recharge plan, the company provides unlimited 4G/3G data for an hour. Then there’s the Rs. 47 recharge plan that includes 500MB of 3G/4GB data, 125 minutes of free local, STD, and roaming voice calls bundled with 50 SMSes per day for a validity period of 28 days.



Airtel: Under Rs. 50 Plans and Benefits




Airtel, on the other hand, seems to be following Jio’s footsteps. The company also has Rs. 49 pack. This pack from Airtel offers 3GB of 4G data for 1 day. Besides, it also gives access to Airtel apps.



The cheapest plan from Airtel includes Rs. 9 plan that provides unlimited local, STD and roaming calls along with 100MB of data and 100 SMSes for a validity period of 1 day. There’s also a Rs. 40 prepaid recharge plan from Airtel that only offers Rs. 35 talk-time and unlimited validity. Interestingly, Airtel also has Rs. 8 plan that offers local and STD voice calls at 35p/min for a validity period of 56 days.

Then there’s Rs. 18 plan with 100MB of 2G/3G/4G data for a validity period of 2 days. The Rs. 23 plan includes unlimited local, STD and roaming calls coupled with 200MB of data and 100 SMS per day for 2 days validity period. At Rs. 24, Airtel offers 135MB of 2G/3G/4G data for 3 days and 200MB data for 5 days at Rs. 28. For longer validity, Airtel users can go for Rs. 29 plan that provides 150MB of 3G/4G data for 28 days.
